- Melt the butter in a pan.

Ingredients
BLUEBERRY
- 6 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1-2 teaspoon lemon zest
BATTER:
- 1 1/8 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cut the butter into cubes and place in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Put in the oven to melt the butter.
- Meanwhile, mix blueberries, sugar, brown sugar and lemon zest in a medium sized bowl. Stir until blueberries are evenly coated with sugar. When the butter is melted, remove it from the oven.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, light brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the middle and add milk and vanilla, Whisk until the batter is smooth.
- Add the blueberries over the melted butter and spread evenly. Pour the batter over the blueberries, making sure that it is evenly distributed in the center and around the edges. Finally, sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top. If you use frozen blueberries, add another 10-15 minutes of baking time.
- Remove from the oven when done and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes, then serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
