Hello! Is it possible to make it with 2% milk rather than whole milk? Or does that affect the consistency? Thanks!
Hi Tracy,
I didn`t made on that way, but I suppose it would be okay with reduced fat milk.

Do you think straining the seeds from the berries would affect the texture of the ice cream?
Hi Gena,
I think it would not affect the texture of the ice cream. You can try. Enjoy!

I lent my ice cream maker to a friend who is unfortunately out of town. Does this really not need one to spin it?
Hi Ali,
You need to whisk with electric mixer until well combined, because of heavy cream.
Best.
We tried an electric mixer and an immersion blender and both splashed liquid everywhere! I think it'd be better to cream the sugar and cream cheese first, then gradually add the liquids starting with the heavy cream. We'll try that next time.
We'll also cut the sugar in half next time because it was way too sweet! I also added lemon zest for more flavor and to cut the sweetness.
Overall, it's a promising recipe and worked fine without an ice cream maker. I'm excited to make more variations.
Thank Lindsay, I'm so glad you liked it.
Its a delicious summer treat.
Best,
Dragana
