  1. Making this today for our strawberry addicted granddaughter!? once we thaw it a little to serve, do we put it back in the freezer or refrigerator? Thanks!

  2. Question? which strawberries do you puree I assume the whole ones as you later say fold in the chopped ones.

  3. Made this!! Really good, maybe would like a little sweeter but probably better for the waistline to leave as is!! ?
I did quarter the whole strawberries because I wanted more strawberries in it. I’m making it for the second time in a week! It is a HIT❣️?

  4. I made this today and froze it. I want to use it for our Party on Saturday the 6th ofJuly. How kong can I leave it out, buffet style , for people to serve themselves? It willow very humid an hot here. Thank you.

      1. Thank you, good to know. It looks so delicious . I tried the filling and I know it will be a hit at the party. Thank you for the recipe.

          1. I love this! I made it yesterday for company and I know it's going to be a hit. I tasted it and was like OMG!!!! My mother in law had a similar recipe to this she used to make years ago that got lost and I'm surprising her with this when they come to visit. She'll love it. I think hers had nuts in it, but I like this version better. I substituted frozen whipped topping for the whipped cream to cut calories a bit and I don't think it impacted anything. It is awesome! Thank you.

  5. Hi , I would like to make this yummy sounding desert but live in the UK, and don’t know what Graham crackers are - do you know if there is something similar here. We often use digestive biscuits for cheesecake based - do you think they would do? Also you refer to powdered sugar - is that what we call caster sugar or is it definitely powder? I hope you can help because it really does sound scrummy.

    1. Hi Sally,

UK version of Graham Crackers is a mix of 50% digestive biscuits (for the right texture) and 50% rich tea biscuits (for more sweetness).
Powdered/Confectioner's sugar is not caster sugar, its more icing sugar.

Enjoy in this absolutely delicious Frozen Strawberry Dessert.

      Regards!

    2. You can use lotus cookies I bet! They are gingerbreadish and would remind me a little bit of graham crackers if you crushed them!

    1. Thanks Val, it really is delicious 🙂
Yes, it can be made... dessert is certainly frozen.
      Regards!

  6. Hi. I'm trying to make this tonite for my birthday tomorrow. I have no form of blender is there anything else I can do for the strawberries.

  7. How long before slicing and serving should it be taken out of freezer? Or should it be served as soon as it is removed from the freezer?

  8. I made this today for Potluck at church tomorrow. If it tastes as good as it looks it,s delicious.
    Thank You

    1. You can try Valerrie, it's definitely a frozen dessert. But you would use 2 cups cool whip in place of 1 cup whipped cream.

      Regards!

  9. Hi.

    Regards

  10. So we made this. Was super excited. There are no directions of how long to freeze. We froze it for 2 hours and was still runny. We froze over night and was hard as a rock. Followed directions but at what stage is it creamy?

    1. Hi Tracy,

You can leave in the freezer for at least 5 hours and take it out of freezer about 20 - 30 minutes before serving.

      Regards!

  11. I really liked this recipe. It was so fresh tasting. Everybody liked it. I will certainly be making it again next strawberry season.

  12. I made this for Thanksgiving and the family went crazy over it. So I had to make it again for Christmas...another big hit!! Now my son's birthday is tomorrow and he wants this made with blueberries. Will that work or need any modifications? Thanks

  13. Just picked strawberries this week . Made this dessert to share with family. Everyone loved it. I will definitely be making this many times.

  14. I have made this several times and everyone loves this! Could this recipe be made with pineapple and coconut for a tropical twist!?

  15. I made this tonight. I’m sure it’s going to taste yummy..I can say I used so many of my appliances though!
    Used:
Blender to purée strawberries (I added a small thing of blueberries before they went bad)
Food processor to make my graham cracker crumbs (know I could have bought them....)
Kitchen aide to make my whip cream
Hand mixer to cream up cream cheese, powdered sugar, purée....etc
At one point, I had my kitchen aide whipping the cream while I was mixing with hand mixer! Can honestly say I’ve never double mixed before! ?

I know it’s going to be awesome as I tasted the strawberry goodness before I put remaining graham crackers and put in freezer.

    Just thought is was funny!

    Thank you for sharing

  16. I would a video of this recipe. Just made it and I will try to add picture.
Hope it comes out ok. Is the mixture suppose to be somewhat liquid? The party is tomorrow, is it ok to leave in freezer over night?

    Thanks

    1. Hi Dolores,

Leave it in the freezer for at least 5-6 hours and take it out of freezer about 20 minutes before serving.

      Enjoy!

      1. OMG! This was a hit. I made it for my niece bday, for the next day, took out 40 minutes before. It was perfect.
        Everyone love it.
In fact I made some more today, I didn't have condensed milk, so I made some homemade and still came out delicious.
Now next time I am going to try another fruit, like peaches.

        Thanks

  19. I am making this for an upcoming party. I’d like to make it a several day ahead. Do the graham crackers on top get soft after you freeze them?

  20. All that sugar and sweetened condensed milk? Sounds like it would be sticky sweet. Any suggestions for a less sweet, lower sugar version?

  21. Hi! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I had a lot of fresh strawberries my mom and I picked from a local farm. I made this recipe with chocolate graham crackers instead of original. I’m excited to try them after they are frozen!

  22. This is amazing! I made it last week, I didn’t read the directions to the end that said freeze for 5 hours and I made it the day of the party… it froze for only 2 hours so it wasn’t completely frozen… it was amazing and I was asked to bring this to all events! I’m making it again tomorrow and I will freeze overnight… but I loved the not all frozen version so I’m hoping it’s just as good!! Thanks for sharing this recipe! Best

  23. Would really love to try this beautiful frozen dessert! Do you think using light versions of cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk would work? I would use cool whip instead of whipping cream.
    Thanks for your comments!

  24. This has to be one of the best desserts I have ever made. My family loves it and now it has been a contagious recipe that friends and family make for they’re parties or their family. Once you make it you’ll never stop!

  25. My husband said it's the best dessert I've ever made, as did the company I was making dinner for that evening. I kept what was left (not much) in the fridge and it was still very good the next 2 days.

  26. It's 9pm, just finished making this frozen strawberry desert. Can't wait to try it tomorrow and my boyfriend too !😁 Will surely be back for the outake... 😉

    1. @Dragana
I made it twice, once as a trial then the second time to serve at a family dinner - delicious! I didn’t add the powdered sugar as I like it less sweet and thoroughly dried the cut strawberries so they wouldn’t ice up. Don’t pack down the base too tightly so it is easier to cut through too. I froze it without the topping and baked the topping for 10 mins then added it before serving so it was nice and crunchy! So yum, thank you for a truly fabulous looking and tasting dessert.

  27. So so so delicious and easy to make, thank you very much for sharing your recipe w us, you are awesome!

  28. This tastes so good, that I’d like to just refrigerate it and serve as is. Would it thicken up enough, or be too runny? Great gluten-free desert using GF Graham crumbs, only I added more, so crumbs weren’t wet.

  29. I have made this dessert several times. My husband and I love it! In fact I just made it again. I highly recommend it!

  30. This was a great recipe for Valentine’s Day yesterday. I used Cool Whip vs heavy cream as I didn’t have any heavy cream and put it in Ramekin dishes which worked out well. I left them in tje freezer until we sat down for supper and then took a few out of the freezer. They were thawed just enough when we were finished eating supper. I’ll make them again.

  31. Very easy and enjoyed by everyone. I used Cool Whip as that's what I had here. Thanks for sharing.

  32. My gang would prefer this without the chunks of strawberry. Can I just blend all the strawberries? Or would it be best to omit the ones meant to be chopped?

    1. Hi Tawni,

Ricotta, mascarpone and cottage cheese would be good substitutes, although those ones have a little extra liquid compared to cream cheese.
