This refreshing, rich and creamy, frozen dessert made with Oreo cookies and butter, then frozen layer of cream cheese, sugar, heavy cream, condensed milk, vanilla and crushed Oreo cookies, finally topped with Oreo crumbs is very quick and easy to prepare.
What do you need to make this Easy Frozen Oreo Dessert?
- 1 package (14.3 Oz) Oreos, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 Oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 6 Oz light cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Sounds delicious and it really is! I love this quick, frozen delicious dessert. In my family, we all like Oreo cookies, so we love this frozen Oreo dessert, too.
We usually have it in summer, but sometimes during other seasons, as well, when we feel like eating ice cream.
How to prepare Easy Frozen Oreo Dessert?
- Crush 10 Oreo cookies and set aside. Put the rest of the cookies in the food processor and crumble them.
- Combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter.
- Spread ½ of it in 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 inch square baking pan and press with your fingers or some firm object to form a layer.
- Save the rest of the Oreo crumbs for later. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks. Again set a side.
- Next in a separate large bowl beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Put vanilla and beat some more.
- After that add beaten heavy whipping cream and mix with spatula until well combined.
- Then add condensed milk and continue mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in crushed Oreos. Spread evenly over the Oreo layer.
- Top with Oreo crumbs.
Notes:
Freeze for min 3-4 h, possibly overnight. Well, you can make it a few days before serving, just keep it in the freezer.
Any leftovers can be stored in the freezer. If you like to make this in a 9×13 pan for a larger crowd, you need to increase the recipe ingredients by 50%.
Spread half of mixture (butter and Oreo) on bottom and half on the top.
You can use regular cream cheese instead of light. Also you can use whipping cream instead of heavy whipping cream, whipping cream contains between 30%-35% milk-fat, which means that it is a lighter product than heavy whipping cream.
Instead of cream cheese, you can use cottage cheese or plain yogurt strained overnight, ricotta cheese or mascarpone if you have.
A regular 14.3-ounce package of Oreo cookies contains 36 cookies.
WELL, THIS WAS JUST A SHORT VERSION OF THE RECIPE THAT YOU CAN FIND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST, ALONG WITH THE QUANTITIES OF THE NECESSARY INGREDIENTS.

My son always helps me to prepare the desserts he likes. This time, too. He was enjoying Oreo cookies while waiting impatiently for the dessert to cool.
